My name is Sioux.
I'm not really sure how old I am, as I was born in the salt marches of Virginia Beach. But what feline tells their age anyway? I was just scratching out a living and hanging out with the wrong tom cat, or should I say "dog", when I found myself to be a single mom. So, I devised a plan. I went on a crash diet, matted my fur with a splash of mud and added just a few fleas for "bling", and started searching for a purrrrfect home. As luck would have it, I found "my sucker". He was tall, dark and handsome…meeeeooowwwww! Now I have everything I need. But, life is not always kit and Kaboodle's, as accidents do happen. With the fine care of Dr. Johnson and his professional staff at the Birdneck Animal Hospital I am feeling much better now and will soon be on the prowl.
XOXO,
Sioux
Each month, the staff at Birdneck Animal Hospital publicly acknowledge one our many wonderful patients by sharing their heartwarming story with others through our Pet of the Month. In addition, Birdneck Animal Hospital makes a donation, in the name of each of our Pets of the Month, to NOBLEPETS. What is NOBLEPETS?
Noblepets is a new branch of the Noblemen Organization that has been spearheaded by our very own Dr. Johnson. Dr. Johnson and the Noblemen have created this wonderful platform as a way to allow more individuals a way of giving back to the community, while at the same time publicly acknowledging your pet, and telling the world why your pet is noble. Monies raised through Noblepets go toward helping provide local children and veterans who are disabled with specially trained aid dogs to make their lives less difficult.
The Birdneck Noblepet Of The Month have their picture displayed on the Noblepet Wall of Honor at the Birdneck Animal Hospital, and have their photo as well as their story posted on the web sites of the Birdneck Animal Hospital and The Noblemen. Each owner also receives a T-shirt and car magnet announcing that their pet has been recognized as a Noblepet.
