Bringing Cheer To Children

Posted on 2011-12-21 04:09:06

Noblemen banner_1.jpgDr. Johnson, his wife and his son will be attending a toy distribution to families in need tonight.  Many hundreds of toys were collected at the Virginia Aquarium during the Noblemen's Reason For The Season party earlier this month, as well as throughout local businesses and schools.  This evening is one of many where the children of these fine Noblemen are the ones who distribute the toys.  It is such a rewarding experience for the children.  Dr. Johnson's son has been looking forward to this event again this year and says, "It's a great way to provide for families in need, and I'm sure I will enjoy it again this year.  It makes me sad to see kids who aren't as fortunate as I am, but it makes you feel good inside to see that you're putting a smile on their faces for the holidays."

Can You Help Ginger Find A Home?

Posted on 2011-12-18 05:52:43

Dr. Johnson and the Birdneck Animal Hospital staff would like to introduce you to Ginger. She  is a beautiful and talkative 8 year old female tortoiseshell who wants nothing more than a warm lap to curl up on.  Ginger has been living at Birdneck Animal Hospital for over 2 months yet she deserves to be living in a loving home where she can run about and play, and love on her pet parents.  Ginger would be best living in a home without any dogs.  If you would like to provide a loving home for Ginger, or know someone who may want to, please contact the Birdneck Animal Hospital.

December Pet Of The Month

Posted on 2011-12-13 05:09:19

Meet Rookie, our December pet of the month.  Rookie is a 7 year old Mastiff/Australian Shepherd mix.  He recently underwent an intensive surgery to repair his cranial cruciate ligament, (a common football injury) though we don't think Rookie was trying for a touchdown! In the words of Dr. Johnson. "Rookie had a fantastic recovery, where most dogs take 2-3 months to recover, Rookie took just a few days."  Three cheers to Rookie!rookie birdneck animal hospital virginia beach

A Truly Noble Event

Posted on 2011-12-05 11:19:41

Dr. & Mrs. Johnson recently attended "The Reason For The Season" party at the Virginia Beach Aquarium.  The event was hosted by The Virginia Beach Roundtable of Business Leaders and The Noblemen, of which Dr. Johnson is an active member.  The event collects  toys to be distributed to Hampton Roads families in need. This toy drive is similar to the Toys for Tots project except in the Noblemen toy drive, the children of these Business Leaders and the children The Noblemen are the ones who give the toys directly to the children who receive the toys.  A truly rewarding experience for our children.  Dr. Johnson's son participated in the toy distribution last year and is eagerly awaiting volunteering for the toy distribution again this year!  In 2010, 12,000 toys provided Christmas for 3000+ kids. This toy collection still continues, and donations can added to toy collection bins at multiple Hampton Roads businesses.aquarium_w_toys
